Softlanding program in Senegal: in-depth immersion for actors from West Africa and Europe
Since September 17, 2024, the Softlanding program, organized by Bond'innov in Senegal as part of the SEADE project, gives a cohort of 10 European and African actors in research and innovation using digital a unique opportunity to discover the dynamic Senegalese ecosystem. The aim is to enable participants to boost their projects through strategic partnerships with local actors.
Composed of higher education establishments, startups, incubators and digital innovation hubs, these actors from four countries - Belgium, Benin, France and Niger - each benefited from a personalized diagnosis to further understand their establishment or collaboration projects in order to optimize their support.
In addition to this diagnosis, they were also able to follow a webinar on the theme “Senegal: Land of opportunity and innovation”, take part in a “Pitch & Connect” session to identify synergies between them, and benefit from training on best practices for successful collaboration. There are still many activities to come, including strategic networking, exchanges with experts, practical workshops and much more.
Scheduled to end next December, this three-month program's aime is to contribute to strengthen the research and innovation ecosystem between Europe and sub-Saharan Africa.
