SEADE Learning Expedition in Ghana-Fostering Digital Transformation

SEADE Ghana Learning Expedition 2024

From October 1st to 5th, 2024, the SEADE Ghana Learning Expedition brought together innovators, researchers, and policymakers from Africa and beyond. Organized by Hapa Space and the Association of African Universities (AAU), the event welcomed participants from African countries and Europe.

Running alongside the Africa Summit on Entrepreneurship and Innovation (ASENTI) and Ghana Digital Innovation Week (GDIW), the expedition gave attendees a unique view of Ghana’s innovation ecosystem. The SEADE booth at GDIW became a hub for sharing ideas, showcasing SEADE services, and networking with local and international tech leaders.

Highlights included panel discussions on education, technology, agribusiness, and research, as well as visits to local innovation hubs. Participants explored how digital tools can transform education and agriculture in Africa, all while enjoying engaging exhibitions and a lively networking dinner.

The SEADE Ghana Learning Expedition wasn’t just informative—it was fun, sparking conversations that will help shape Africa’s digital future. Keep an eye out for more updates on the exciting projects ahead!
