These sessions offered insights into regional markets, innovation ecosystems, and partnership prospects for stakeholders interested in investing or collaborating in these dynamic regions. 9th October: Sénégal: Terre d’Opportunités et d’Innovation (2 PM - 4 PM GMT)

This webinar highlighted Senegal as an innovation hub in West Africa, showcasing its economic growth, key sectors, and research and innovation initiatives. Discussions focused on the opportunities within the Senegalese market, research infrastructure, and potential collaborations for international stakeholders. The event was presented by Bond’Innov and conducted in French with an English live translation.

16th October: Kenya: IoT AI Research (10 AM - 12 PM CET)

This session introduced policies, strategies, and initiatives related to IoT and AI in Kenya. It provided insights into key opportunities for IoT in Europe and Kenya, tools for IoT capacity building, and the IoT AI Research Route-to-Market program's launch in Kenya. The webinar was hosted by Waziup and the Association of African Universities.

23rd October: Ghana: Africa’s Rising Innovation Frontier (9 AM - 11 AM GMT)

The webinar explored Ghana’s pivotal role in Africa's innovation landscape, focusing on its rapid economic growth, vibrant innovation ecosystem, and key technological sectors. Discussions included Ghana’s expanding research infrastructure and opportunities for collaboration and investment. Hapa Space facilitated this session.

30th October: South Africa: The State of Innovation in Africa (1 PM - 2 PM SAST)

This webinar provided an analysis of digital innovation in South Africa in comparison to the broader African context. The discussion identified areas where South Africa excels and where challenges remain, highlighting partnership opportunities between European and African stakeholders in the digital innovation space. Methys and the ENRICH in Africa Center led the session.
